Mylar is used exclusively for our storm drain stencils. It performs well and is more economical than Dura-Tuff. The average life of Mylar is about 100 - 150 uses.

Dura-Tuff (D) is a 60mil (1/16") polyethylene non-porous plastic. It is one of the most widely used materials for stencil use because it is non-hazardous, very flexible, and extremely tough.

Maxi-Tuff (M) is a 125 mil (1/8") polyethylene designed for rugged, permanent use. Maxi-Tuff is especially well suited for pavement marking.
